Born and raised in the oil patch of Odessa, TX, Danita has spent over 30 years in broadcast and media — from radio, TV, and print advertising to digital and social marketing.
Her journey has taken her from West Texas to New York City, and now, down to the swamp.
Since moving to New Iberia in 2018, Danita has fully embraced the culture and community of Acadiana, participating in parades, cookoffs, festivals, balls and more. She’s hosted events across the region, including the Cattle Festival, the Cajun Heartland State Fair, and Moncus Park’s Christmas in the Park.
A proud Leadership Iberia graduate, Danita has also served on the boards of The705 and the Girl Scouts of Louisiana – Pines to the Gulf.
She currently serves as Marketing Director for Musson Patout Automotive Group and owns The Bank Bar & Patio in New Iberia.
When she’s not working, you can find her traveling with her family, chasing bucket list concerts and napping.
