The St. Martin Parish Sheriff Department is getting a new facility.
KLFY reports that groundbreaking ceremonies were held Thursday afternoon. The 18,000 square foot building will house an IT lab, and a gym, in addition to the patrol, narcotics and detective divisions. The 4 million dollar facility is expected to be completed by December.
