Lifetime Getting Sued by Family

One family says their Christmas was ruined because of a Lifetime movie. It’s true. And this family is so upset that they are taking the Lifetime channel to court. Here’s what happens. Setiam and Katherine Allah sent out family photo Christmas cards to 50 different friends and family members. Somehow, one of those photo cards ended in a scene of a Lifetime original movie “Christmas Harmony.” In the movie, a woman trying to hang Christmas cards on the fridge and the guy in the scene tells her not to because those cards are ugly. Well, the card she held up was clearly the family photo of the Allah’s. The Allahs say friends recognized their Christmas photo and called them up immediately. They were very embarrassed to hear their photo was called ugly. They have stated that they have no idea how the movie studio got a copy of their photo Christmas card but they are furious. The Allahs say that they did not give permission for the movie company to use their photo. And now they are asking to receive all the profits from the movie.
