With nearly a decade of on-air experience, Rowdy Ray brings expertise, energy, and a non-nonsense approach to the airwaves on Mustang 107.1 FM — Acadiana’s Classic Country.
The longtime Louisiana resident, who lives in Sunset with his wife and daughter, began his career in Central Illinois as he earned an Associate’s Degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting from Lake Land College, and one of his first jobs out of college was working for country station WACF-FM in Paris, Illinois.
His multi-media career would bring him back down south, and he has spent the past two-plus decades working in Alexandria, Monroe, Ville Platte, New Iberia, and Lafayette.
Ray has seen many country legends live in concert, including George Strait, Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, Dwight Yoakam, Garth Brooks, John Anderson, and many more.
Listen to The Rowdy Ray Show airs every weekday on Mustang 107.1 FM — Acadiana’s Classic Country!
