Tips to help you sleep if you’re stressed
Work, School, Family, Finances … things that tend to cause stress can also make it harder to go to sleep. Stress can cause your brain to stay awake and that can keep your eyes open.
Here are a few tips to put your brain at ease and help you get a better night’s rest:
- Try some relaxation exercises such as meditation or yoga.
- Take deep breaths as you close your eyes.
- Eliminate excess light in the room from night lights to the little red power light on the TV.
- Try smelling something lavender. Studies have shown the smell of lavender can help relax the body.
