Let’s hop in our metaphorical time machine and take a trip down memory lane.

On June 27, 1959 Lorrie Morgan was born in Nashville, Tennessee. Morgan is the daughter of country music singer George Morgan who earned many hit singles between the years of 1949 and 1975, when he passed away. Lorrie burst on to the country music scene in 1989 with her single ‘Train wreck of Emotion’. Since then she has charted over 25 singles on the Billboard Hot country hits chart. Those singles include three number one hits: ‘Five Minutes’, ‘What Part of No’, and ‘I Didn’t Know My Own Strength’. In her personal life, Lorrie Morgan has been married to three different country singers: Keith Whitley, Jon Randall, and Sammy Kershaw.

On June 27, 1974 Christian Kane was born in Dallas, Texas. Kane is the actor, singer, and song writer who is also the lead singer of the country southern rock band ‘Kane’. He is also been seen in the television shows ‘The Librarians’, ‘Angels’, ‘Leverage’, and ‘Into the West’. Kane also made appearances in movies like ‘Just Married’ and ‘Secondhand Lions’.

On June 27, 1992 Billy Ray Cyrus was at number one on the US country music chart, with his breakthrough hit ‘Achy Breaky Heart’. The song was written by Don Von Tress and was originally titled ‘Don’t Tell My Heart’. It was also recorded by The Marcy Brothers in 1991 before becoming a major crossover hit on the pop and country radio charts for Billy Ray. The name of the song was changed to ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ before it peaked at the number four spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It became the first country single to be certified platinum since Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton’s ‘Islands in the Stream’ in 1983. Billy Ray has found himself some recent success as well. Featuring on the ultra popular track ‘Old Town Road’, with Lil Nas X.
