The Academy of Country Music (ACM) has unveiled its nominations for the 2025 awards, with newcomer Ella Langley leading the pack with eight nods. Langley’s nominations include Female Artist of the Year and New Female Artist of the Year, propelled by her hit collaboration with Riley Green, “You Look Like You Love Me.” Following closely are Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, and Cody Johnson, each securing seven nominations. Chris Stapleton garnered six nominations, while Riley Green and Post Malone each received five.
Notably absent from this year’s nominations are Beyoncé and Miranda Lambert. Beyoncé’s album Cowboy Carter, which earned her multiple Grammy Awards including Album of the Year and Country Album of the Year, was overlooked by the ACM. Similarly, Lambert’s Postcards from Texas failed to secure any nominations.
The 60th annual ACM Awards will be hosted by Reba McEntire and are scheduled to take place on May 8 at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. The ceremony will stream live on Prime Video and feature performances by artists such as Blake Shelton, Eric Church, and Lainey Wilson.
As the country music community prepares for this milestone event, the nominations have sparked discussions about emerging talent and the evolving landscape of the genre.
