During his headlining set at Coachella 2025 on April 13, Post Malone revealed that he is working on a new album, set to release later this year. This announcement comes as a follow-up to his successful country debut, F-1 Trillion, released in August 2024. The album, featuring collaborations with artists like Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton, and Luke Combs, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and received a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album.
In a pre-Coachella interview, Malone shared that he has written over 30 songs for the upcoming project, collaborating with country artists such as Ernest, Thomas Rhett, and Hardy. He expressed excitement about the creative process, stating, “Listening to the band play gets me excited. Usually, I hate listening to my music, but this is different.”
Malone’s Coachella performance showcased his musical evolution, blending his hip-hop roots with his current country style. The set featured acoustic arrangements and a mix of genres, reflecting his artistic growth. Following the festival, he will embark on the Big Ass World Tour with Jelly Roll, marking his first stadium tour.
