The 2025 American Music Awards are set to light up Las Vegas on May 26, with Jennifer Lopez hosting and performing at what promises to be a historic night for music fans. Airing live coast-to-coast on CBS and streaming on Paramount+, the AMAs are back bigger than ever—and completely fan-voted.
Leading the pack is Kendrick Lamar, who earned 10 nominations, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year (GNX). If he sweeps, Lamar could tie legends Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston for the most AMAs won in a single night.
Post Malone, now dabbling in country music, follows with eight nods, while Billie Eilish and breakout star Chappell Roan each snagged seven nominations. First-timers like Shaboozey, Benson Boone, and Sabrina Carpenter add fresh energy to the nominee list.
Fan favorites Taylor Swift and Beyoncé are also poised for more wins, with Swift aiming to extend her record of 40 AMA trophies.
Returning with a nod to U.S. troops and veterans on Memorial Day, this year’s AMAs will mix unforgettable performances with heartfelt tributes—celebrating not just the year’s biggest songs, but the passion of music lovers everywhere.
Voting is open now at VoteAMAs.com and the @AMAs Instagram profile.
