The old Burger King location on US 90 and Southpark near Garber Road will be getting a new life and could become a destination for Cajun food in the near future.
According to Developing Lafayette, Linx Specialty Meats will be moving to this location and will be offering a delicious selection of Cajun specialties like crackins, fresh daily plate lunches and of course boudin. Plus Linx will also offer some of their specialty meat products.
There is a lot of activity going on at the location in Broussard as the remodeling process is taking place. The tentative opening is late February or March.
Can you really have too many places to “grab and go” fresh boudin? I think not!! This will be a welcoming addition to the commuters on US 90.
Linx Specialty Meats has an original location on Hwy 190 in Opelousas and will open another new location in Port Barre in the coming weeks.
