See the Art and Buy the Art Saturday, Oct 8th from 6pm-9pm during the 2nd Saturday ArtWalk. Explore Downtown Lafayette, check out galleries, museums restaurants and shops offering live music food drink. There will also be a Block Party to celebrate a more complete Congress with new bike lanes, on-street parking and safer crossings. The inaugural crossing be Saturday at 4:30pm near the Lafayette Public Library Main Branch at 301 W. Congress other events include 9am Yoga, 10am Kids activities Lafayette Science Museum, Children’s Museum of Acadiana, and Lafayette Public LIbrary. 10am-noon free popsicles at the Victory Garden, 4pm Victory Festival, 4:30 First Crossing of Congress with Mayor President Jel Robideaux, 6-9pm ArtWalk
Downtown Alive! (DTA!) is once again partnering with the Bayou Round-up on October 7th to line the streets of Downtown with hundreds of classic cars. The night will feature a first-time ever stop in Lafayette from L.A.’s iconic Roots-Rock band, The Blasters as well as CC Adcock and The Lafayette Marquis.
