Last night, I absolutely could not decide what to cook for supper so I stopped by Heleaux’s Grocery and picked up a pack of Chicken Sausage made with Steen Syrup.  I put it in a pan and baked it in the oven.  I am definitely not a chef. I am sure there is a more creative way to prepare this sausage but I was in hurry and hungry. I almost always take the easy way to prepare something.  Below is a photo of the sausage. I sliced it up and oh my gosh, it is so good.  I cooked up spaghetti (because, again, easy) and topped it with the sausage.  Everyone loved it.  I wished I would have picked two packs of sausage.  This is why I love Heleaux’s.  There is always something unique delicious and well-seasoned. And after working all day, who wants to waste time walking up and down aisles   in a huge store. This place is clean fresh and within minutes, I am back in my vehicle and off to the house.   For dessert, we wanted something sweet! Here is my recipe today! Easy Ice cream. You will love it!! And you can find all of these ingredients at Heleaux’s Grocery.

1 – can of sweetened condensed milk

8 oz of whipping cream (small carton)

candy or fruit (we use m&m’s)

Pour whipping cream in a bowl. Use a mixer to blend up until whipped. Pour in condensed milk and stir with a spoon.  Add candy (whatever you want to mix in. It is great plain too) We usually add m&ms.  It is best crush up some of the candy before mixing in. Put in a container and freeze overnight.
