The Service Chevrolet Cadillac Top Cop of the Week is Corporal Taylor Doucet of the Broussard Police Department. Corporal Doucet says he joined law enforcement because of his family. He also enjoys being able to help the community and create a safer world for his child.
According to his nomination for Top Cop, Corporal Doucet, has helped the homeless and purchased meals for those without food. When the temperatures to dropped to freezing levels, he gathered blankets and helped pay for a hotel room for people without a place to stay. The submission also stated that Corporal Doucet is hard working and dedicated to protecting the community.
