There’s been a lot of controversy regarding a potential gas station at the Four Corners intersection, which is at University Avenue and Cameron St.
However, Lafayette City Council has given a green light to the plans with multiple conditions.
The premises must be surrounded with an eight-foot privacy fence and the hours of the business would be from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The location is the former Flowers Inc. store located at 1803 W University Avenue. Mayor-President Monique Blanco Boulet has until the end of the month to pass the ordinance.
