Advice for men: what NOT to say to HER

If you’re a guy, you’ve probably said one of the following to your significant other … and these are NOT good things to say! I’m not an expert in relationships, but I have learned over time how to be a better person. So a little advice for the fellas, avoid the following:
“Just calm down” … If she feels strong about something and is trying to tell you, you should be patient and listen.
“You’re not a guy so you wouldn’t understand” … This will further distance you two in your relationship. Taking the time to better understand each other rather than separating yourself because of your sex goes a long way.
“Do you really need to buy that?” … If you try to push her away from purchasing something you don’t like (or too expensive) it may only lead to changes in behavior later on. Talk about it calmly and understand each other. You eventually want that man cave right?
“You never” or “You Should Have” … Nobody likes being told what to do, say or how to think. Put yourself in her shoes (ouch) mentally and think how you would feel if that was thrown at you.
