Are you really seeing the real person online?
I see it way too much on social media, people who alter their profile pics to make themselves look better. Is it okay? I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a few touch ups, but serious alterations such as reshaping to look thinner makes me roll my eyes at some people. Why not just be yourself?
A recent survey shows that 33% of women and 20% of men change or ‘edit’ their online photos for dating and social media sites and surprisingly most people don’t mind. The most common edits include removing blemishes and whitening teeth.
When it comes to reshaping the body or face, an overwhelming percentage of people say that’s NOT okay.
