A pair of former LSU baseball Tigers will get the starting nod this Tuesday (July 9) in the 2019 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. Both DJ LeMahieu and Alex Bregman will be starting in the infield for the American League when the game gets underway at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. The appearances of LeMahieu and Bregman mark the fifth straight year that a former LSU player will participate in the MLB All-Star Game.
LeMahieu, who now plays for the New York Yankees, will start at second base in Tuesday’s game.
