With Christmas Day less than a month away, plenty of holiday events are coming up in the Acadiana area.
The City of Carencro has a great event happening this weekend that is free to attend. Christmas in Carencro kicks off on Friday with Christmas Candyland at Carencr City Hall. The town Christmas tree will be lit, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance, and the forecasters are calling for snow!
Then on Saturday, the Dasher, Dancer, Prancer 5K takes place at 8:00 a.m. followed by Carencro Country Christmas from 9 am-3 pm. This event will have arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, carolers, and so much more. The Carencro Christmas Parade, back for the first time in a few years, will roll at 10 am.
