Chris Hochkeppel of the band, Burris, will be performing at Artsmophere this weekend. He is lending his voice and musical talents to help out victims of the flood.  Dustin Gaspard and Brass Mimosa will also take the stage.  All the money collected at the door will be donated to the American Red Cross to help out flood victims in Acadiana.  Chris Hochkeppel stopped by Delta Media and talked life growing up in Lafayette and his love of music.  His father is the Band Director at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette so music was part of his daily life.  When Chris is not on the road playing with his band Burris, he also enjoys teaching music and song.

In the video, Chris Hochkeppel performed the song he and his band wrote together as a tribute to the victims of the flood.
