Chris Young will be making a stop in Lafayette this fall!
Live Nation just announced that the Chris Young: Raised on Country Tour featuring Chris Jansen and LoCash will at the Cajundome on Thursday, September 5 at 7:00 pm. Chris Young was born in Tennessee. His grandfather was a performer on Louisiana Hayride. Chris Young showed interest in becoming a musician at a young age. From then on, he joined choirs and would enter singing competitions. His singing career got a boost when he was crowned champion on the USA Network, “Nashville Star,” television show. Chris Young landed a recording contract. That same year two songs landed on the Hot Country charts. In 2009, he released, The Man I Want to Be album which had three songs reach number one. Today, Chris Young has seven albums is a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
