Black developed an interest at young age. His parents noticed early on that Clint Black had a talent for singing. In fact, by the time he was 15 Clint Black had taught himself to play the harmonica and the guitar and was even writing his own songs. He and his brothers started a backyard band. Every Saturday afternoon, their parents invited friends and family over to eat barbecue and listen to the boys sing. Eventually, Clint Black quit high school to focus on his music career. His release of his debut album launched him to stardom. “Killin’ Time,” scored five number hit songs. Clint Black has had a total of 22 number one songs.
