Flu. Some people are terrified of germs and of getting sick. And for good reason. Getting sick puts a damper on things. It can cause people to miss work or school, or have a less enjoyable vacation. The flu is annoying. Now, speaking for myself, I don’t think I have ever contracted the flu. And if I had, I didn’t realize I had the flu. Mom says it’s because I was breastfed when I was a baby and I have a superhuman immune system. Who knows. Getting the flu is not my list of things to worry about. But perhaps, some have had a serious run-in with the flu, that left them incapacitated clinging to a blanket on the couch. This person surely wants to do anything possible to avoid getting the flu. From holding doors open with their foot to wearing a radiation suit to using used tissues.
A company in California has a new method people can use to avoid getting the flu. They have created a box of used tissue. Each tissue is embedded with germs of people who have already been sick. The makers of this product say it is safer than getting a shot or taking a pill. The company called Vaev is selling this box of infected tissues for $80 a box. And so far, has already sold out.
