The Southside High Sharks are entering their third season of varsity football, and it will also be the program’s third season of being broadcast live on Mustang 107.1 FM.

Shark fans can follow all the exciting action all season long on Mustang 107.1 FM. After serving the past two seasons as color commentator, Nick Fontenot slides over to serve as the play-by-play man and will be joined in the booth by former Daily Advertiser sports reporter Eric Narcisse.

“I have been part of the broadcast team for Southside games since the first year the school played varsity football,” Fontenot said. “I am along for the ride with those coaches and kids and I love having a small role in the overall history of Southside football.”

“I am so excited for the opportunity to join the Mustang 107.1 FM team and help call Southside High Sharks football games with Nick,” Narcisse said. “High school football has been a large part of my life from my days as a reporter, so to have a chance to return to the press box this season is truly a blessing.”

In addition to listening to Southside High football on the radio dial, Shark fans can listen online at www.Mustang1071.com or on the free Mustang 1071 mobile app.
