Ford Motor Company is recalling 238,000 mid size SUV’s because of a rear axle defect. There’s a bolt that can shear, causing the driveshaft to disconnect. This can result in a moving vehicle losing drive power, or a parked vehicle rolling away. The recall affects Ford Explorers from model years 2020 – 2022. Nearly 400 of these failures have been reported. This is the third recall for this issue.
