Every spring wrestling fans, like myself, look forward to the spectacle that is Wrestlemania. On April 7th, Wrestlemania 35 will go down in New York City and a huge announcement was made by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, earlier this week, regarding the ‘Show of Shows’. The greatest wrestler of all time, in my opinion, John Cena has been confirmed to be at the show. Not only will Cena be at Wrestlemania, but he will also participate in a match; according to the Observer Newsletter. When I saw this news I was obviously excited to the core because having Wrestlemania without John Cena just wouldn’t be the same. Wrestlemania is where all the big matches happen and not having ‘Big Match John’ there would have certainly felt like something was missing.
The card for Wrestlemania 35 may be the biggest in WWE history, and the show will most certainly be the longest in WWE history. These factors admittedly had me sort of wary about this year’s Wrestlemania. All that changed this week, though, when it was reported that my favorite wrestler John Cena will be there. We don’t know as of yet who Cena’s opponent will be at Wrestlemania, but as long as he’s in the ring it doesn’t matter to me. So bring on 18 different matches, bring on an 8-hour show, and bring on Wrestlemania 35!
