Chicken Sausage & White Bean Chili
Ingredients:
2 packs (approx 2 lbs) Heleauxs Chicken Sausage (casing removed),
16 oz Guidry’s Creole Seasoning Mix,
2 Cans Trappey’s White Navy Beans (rinsed and drained),
16 oz Kitchen Basics Chicken Stock,
8 oz Kitchen Basics Vegetable Stock,
2 Teaspoons Minced Garlic,
2 Teaspoons Heleaux’s Seasoning,
2 Teaspoons Chili Powder,
1 Teaspoon Cumin.
Cooking Directions:
Brown Chicken Sausage on medium heat, then add Guidry’s Creole Seasoning Mix simmer for 15 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for an additional 30 minutes.
For Father’s Day, I was wanted something different but delicious and easy. I stopped by Heleaux’s and picked up this pork roast stuffed with pork sausage and wrapped in bacon. When my son, saw this thing, he called it pork paradise. I put it in the oven and baked at 375 degrees for an hour and half. Very tender and well seasoned. I have been shopping at this place for years and I swear every time I visit, I see something I have never seen before.
