Iconic 90’s Country Artist, Joe Diffie has passed away at the age of 61. He died (today) Sunday, March 29, 2020. According to a report, he died from complications of COVID-19. Joe Diffie was diagnosed last week.
Joe Diffie was a member of the Grand Ole Opry. He moved to Nashville in the 80s. He landed a recording contract with Epic Records in the 90s. Joe Diffie has had more than 30 hit songs on the country chart. Some of those songs included are “Prop Me Up Beside The Juke Box” “Pickup Man” and “Third Rock From The Sun.”
Since last year, Joe Diffie was working for a radio station in Tulsa, Oklahoma as the midday personality.
He is survived by his wife Tara and five children.
