Luke Combs, the CMA Entertainer of the Year, announced a 25-show stadium tour for 2024 titled the Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour.

Combs will travel to 13 different cities with 12 of the 13 getting multiple shows in a weekend.

The tour kicks off next April in Milwaukee, WI, and wraps up in Houston, TX in August. Other major stops include New York, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Cincinnati, and Jacksonville.

Combs became one of the fastest artists to hit 15 #1 songs earlier this year with “Going, Going, Gone”. This track was also his 15th consecutive top song, meaning all of his radio singles have touched #1 on at least one country chart. He joined the likes of Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, and Alabama with how quickly he achieved this milestone.

With the majority of the cities having multiple shows, Combs has decided to give two different shows, with different opening acts and setlists. Friday shows will include Charles Wesley Godwin, Hailey Whitters, The Wilder Blue, Cody Jinks, and The Avett Brothers, while the Saturday performances will feature Jordan Davis, Colby Acuff, Drew Parker, and Mitchell Tenpenny.

Combs released a statement following the tour’s announcement:

“We got an opportunity to do two shows in some U.S. markets on the World Tour, but when I found out we were going to be able to do two shows for most all of the cities on the 2024 tour, I decided I wanted each show to have their own unique set up of openers, as well as my own unique setlist,” Combs said. “I thought this would give people an opportunity to come to both nights if they want, but see two completely different shows.”

“With country music being such a wide genre and being a huge fan of it all myself, I wanted to open up my stage to acts that lean into Outlaw, Americana and Red Dirt on Friday nights, as well as having a night with people I have toured with in the past, who are more contemporary country. I’m super excited to have both groups be out on the road with me for the Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour!”

Luke Comb’s official statement

Combs was recently part of history when his rendition of Fast Car, Morgan Wallen’s Last Night, and Jason Aldean’s Try That in a Small Town took the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 100, the first time three country songs held the top spots.

Tickets for the Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour go on sale August 25, with presales happening as early as August 23.
