Maddie & Tae are loving their time on the Sounds of Summer tour with headliner Dierks Bentley, but the duo will be stepping out on their own come this fall. The ladies and BFFs will headline their own Start Here tour beginning on October 7th in New York City and will make stops at 12 clubs and listening rooms in all. The tour supports their new album, also called Start Here, which will be released on August 28th.
Tae Dye said, “Maddie and I wanted to get out and play all the songs from this new record. We’ve spent a few years writing these songs, figuring out how to say what we thought was important about being our age, and figuring out how to create our kind of music, so before we get back onto someone else’s tour, we wanted to take some time and show people all of who we are!”
Here are the dates on the Start Here tour:
October 7th — New York City, Highline Ballroom
October 8th — Boston, Paradise Rock Club
October 10th — Portland, Maine, the Asylum
October 15th — Knoxville, Tennessee, Cotton Eyed Joe
October 16th — Charlotte, North Carolina, Amos’ Southend
October 17th — Chattanooga, Tennessee, Track 29
October 22nd — Tulsa, Cain’s Ballroom
October 23rd — Nacogdoches, Texas, Banita Creek Hall
October 24th — Houston, House of Blues
November 5th — Springfield, Illinois, Boondocks
November 6th — Detroit, St. Andrew’s Hall
November 7th — Chicago, Joe’s on Weed Street
