The 71st Annual Mid-Winter Fair Rodeo is taking place in Lafayette this weekend!
The rodeo will be from January 11-14 at Blackham Coliseum with the event starting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening. The Sunday event will be at 2:30 p.m.
Tickets are available at the Harper & Morgan website. Thursday night is family night and tickets are offered at a $5 discount.
This is a great event for adults and kids alike, with barrel racing, bull riding, steep roping, and much more! There’s also the always exciting Buddy Barrel Pickup, where one team member stands on top of the barrels, and the other rides in on the horse and has to pick up the team member, and race out of the arena faster than anyone else.
