The Service Chevrolet Cadillac Top Cop of the Week is Deputy Matthew Laurent of the Lafayette Sheriff’s Office. He’s been serving the department for four years. Deputy Laurent says one of his family members was a cop and that inspired him to take that career route. He attended college and studied criminal justice. And since landing a job, he realizes that he enjoys serving the community.
The person who nominated Deputy Laurent says that Deputy Laurent is a dedicated cop and shows pride in all that he does.
