The Service Chevrolet Cadillac Top Cop of the Week is Detective Wendy Noel of the Breaux Bridge Police Department.
Det. Noel has been working in law enforcement for 17 years. Before joining the force, she had never considered police work as a career. At the time, she needed a job and a family suggested that she try working as a cop. Det. Noel started off in dispatch, then patrol, and detective. Det Noel said that she loves her job. She enjoys helping people and protecting the community.
