This weekend is Halloween weekend…whatever you do and wherever you go, just know it is completely acceptable to wear a costume and disguise yourself…

Friday, October 28

Downtown Alive (DTA!)  features Cedryl BAllou and the Zydeco Trendsetters kicks off at 5:30pm.  FREE! No ice chests, please.

The Children’s Museum of Acadiana’s Spooktacular event October 28, 29, and 31 at the museum 201 E. Congress Street from 5:30pm – 8:30pm.  Spooky exhibits, activities and a nightly costume contest with prizes.

Movies in the Parc featuring “Hocus Pocus.”  Doors open at 8pm and movies starts at 9pm.  Admission $3 and free for kids 5 and under.  Downtown Lafayette
GIRARD PARK: Fall Fun Fest Friday, October 28th at 6:00pm AT Girard Park Pavillion at 500 Girard Park Dr.
CHILDREN Ages 13 and Below  Please join us for ghoulish games, freaky fun, costume parade, hay rides and frightening food! Children and Adults Welcomed to participate! For more Information: (337) 291-8370

Saturday, October 29

Lafayette Farmers & Artisans Market at the Horse Farm happens Every Saturday 8am – noon in Lafayette. The Horse Farm at Moncus Park is located across the street from Mel’s Diner. No entry fee.  Walk around and check out the local Produce, 100% Handcrafted Art, Prepared food  Lafayette Farmers Market

BIKE TO BREAKFAST:  Join the Frozard Cultural Arts District for a casual family bike ride along country roads. From Frozard Plantation ride east on Hickory to Jules LaGrange to 93 store then back to the Frozard Plantation House for a pumpkin pancake breakfast. The bike ride will be 3 miles on back roads. Dress up in Halloween costume if you like! Ride starts 915am and Breakfast 10:15.  The Frozard Plantation House is located at 307 Frozard Road Arnaudville, LA 70512  $5 person.
