The City of Lafayette is once again being voted on as one of the best in the Bayou State.
US News and World Report voted the Hub City as the best place to live in the state of Louisiana for 2024.
Lafayette is of course known for its cuisine and culture, but also carries a lower cost of living and a low unemployment rate as well.
Mayor-President Monique Blanco Boulet released a statement on the report, saying “this recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our residents, businesses, and local leaders. Lafayette is a city that values its traditions while embracing innovation and growth. We are honored to be named the best place to live in Louisiana and will continue to strive for excellence in all that we do.”
