The City of St. Martinville will host the inaugural Christmas on the Bayou festival this coming Sunday!
This promises to be a day filled with family-friendly activities, a parade, and a festival along Bayou Teche.
The parade will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday starting at St. Martinville Senior High and ending at the iconic Fred’s building on the corner of Main Street.
Following the parade, the festival will take over, with Keith Frank playing from 5-7 pm accompanied by DJ Troy D. There will be food trucks, pop-up shops, a children’s corner, and much more. As a reminder, no ice chests will be allowed at the event.
“In St. Martinville, we believe in the power of community,” Mayor Jason Willis said. “As we gather to celebrate the season, we also aim to showcase the beauty of our city, and bring a renewed sense of pride to our residents.”
