Wow! Downtown Alive is in its 40th anniversary season! It began in 1983 as a small Friday afternoon street fair in downtown Lafayette. DTA has grown to be Louisiana’s longest standing free outdoor concert series. This week’s event features Bonsoir Catin. The music kicks off at 6pm, thisFriday, September 15th in Parc Sans Souci. Limited commemorative merchandise is available, including 1983 posters, and t-shirts. Admission is free. All ages are welcome. No outside food or beverages, please.
