One of Acadiana’s most popular and prolific musicians has been victimized by thieves. Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience were recently on tour in Nevada. The band’s trailer was stolen from their hotel parking lot.
Terrance told our news partners at KLFY, “It was a shock, you know. It was a shock to all the other guys in the band and me. I’ve been touring since 1985, and nothing like this has ever happened since that period.”
More than $15,000 worth of equipment was stolen.
