Find out more: James Dupre

James Dupre is a singer of a good ole country song. He grew up in the piney woods of Bayou Chicot, a small rural community of Evangeline Parish. And now, he currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee. After taking guitar lessons, James Dupre started recording and uploading videos of himself singing his favorite songs to YouTube. In 2010, his voice caught the attention of Ellen from The Ellen Degeneres Show and she invited him to be guest on her talk show.  James Dupre’s YouTube hit a million subscribers and before long James Dupre had his own band and regular shows at venues all around Louisiana. James Dupre moved to Music City to pursue music full-time. In 2015, James Dupre once again received the opportunity to show off his talents as a contestant on NBC’s “The Voice.”  He stopped the studio to talk about a movie his filmed with country music legend Randy Travis. The Price will premiere in Opelousas.
