John Schneider will be celebrating his birthday in Louisiana and this celebration will be huge. The Dukes of Hazzard Star will be hosting the 2nd Annual Bo’s Extravaganza on April 6th and 7th in Holden, Louisiana. This event will feature live music, a carnival, car stunts, car show, lots of celebrities, a Duke’s of Hazzard Look-a-like contest and more. Some of our local bands will be performing at the festival including Jo-el Sonnier and Beau Young. Expect to see performances by John Schneider and his band, the Hazzard Nation Band, Kid Rock, Whey Jennings, Bo Bice, Keith Burns of Trick Pony and even the Elvis Presley Tribute Band. Plus many more.
I got a chance to talk to John Schneider (aka Bo Duke) about the upcoming event and he says, he ready to have a good time. Schneider plans on participating in one of the car stunts. So to prepare, he has been spending a lot of time in the gym. Apparently, strong ab muscles are crucial when doing stunts that involve a car going airborne. He has even invited a group of from Detroit to participate in some of the stunts.
Although this event is a birthday celebration, it is also a dedication to the memory of Burt Reynolds.
