A private funeral service for Merle Haggard will be held on Saturday (April 9th) afternoon at his home studio in Palo Cedro, CA. It will be officiated by Marty Stuart and his wife, Connie Smith. Flowers may be sent through Anderson Florist, 2820 Freeman St., #1, Anderson, CA, 96007, and donations can also be made in Haggard’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Haggard died on Wednesday (April 6th) on his 79th birthday.
