The Service Chevrolet Cadillac Top Cop of the Week is Deputy Zachary Williams of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office. He has been working in law enforcement for a little more than ten years.
Deputy Williams was inspired to become a member of law enforcement because of a tv show. As a child, he used to watch the show COPS. This inspired him to want to work as law officer so he could help people and make a difference in his community.
Deputy Williams’s wife nominated him to be the TOP COP of the Week. According to Michelle Williams, she says her husband is dedicated to his job and is willing to help anyone in need. He goes above and beyond his duty. Acadian Ambulance recently honored Deputy Williams with the Life Savings Award for saving a man’s life by performing CPR.
