The Service Chevrolet Cadillac Top Cop of the Week is Captain Jimmie Richard of the Lafayette City Police Department. He started his career with the sheriff office and then moved over to the Lafayette City Police department and now has been working as a cop for more than thirty years. He joined the police force because he thought it was a good way to help people.
According to his nomination, Captain Jimmie Richard, takes pride in protecting the community and loves his job. He is the Captain of Precinct 2 and part of his duties include training officers in the police academy.
