What is the biggest dog that you have ever owned? Being a dog parent is already a challenge…more challenging than owning a cat. Think about it. Cats chase mice and as long as a cat’s bowl is full, the cat is happy. The dog is similar to a child, it takes responsibility.  Dogs must be walked, played with, talked to and fed. Imagine feeding and walking and spending time with this dog that stands four feet high. Julie and Brian Williams are waiting to find out if their Great Dane will be declared the Tallest Dog in the World by the Guinness World Records.  The dog is four feet tall.  The doggie food bill must be expensive.  Read more about this gigantic dog in the United Kingdom.

A Great Dane measuring more than an astonishing 4 FEET is in the running to be a world record dog.
Major, the three-year-old pooch who towers over his owners, is awaiting the judgement from Guinness World Records , due next month.
Owners Brian and Julie Williams live with the humongous hound who is the same height as an average seven-year-old child, at Perriswood Archery and Falconry Centre in Penmaen, Gower in South Wales.
The massive mutt, who turns four in September, will be up against fellow Great Danes Freddy from Southend in Essex, and Rocco, from Nevada in the US – so he’s guaranteed a top-three finish. The towering tyke, who loves having his nails manicured, stands at an impressive 4ft 1in and measures 40.5 inches to the shoulder.
