Nothing beats a massage, right? The feeling of your tight muscles being squeezed and rubbed out is pure ecstasy. Replace a pair of strong hands with a meat cleaver and you’ll experience one of the most popular massages in Taiwan. Yes, you read correctly.

It’s a popular type of massage in Taiwan that generations of people swear by. Are you brave enough to try it out yourself? Don’t worry! The cleaver’s blades are dull with a towel covering your body. It’s meant to bring in good spiritual “energy” and pleasure to those who receive this… unique massage.

You might be surprised to know that people all over the world are trying out what is called a “knife massage”. Do we have you on the edge of your seat? Well, a popular massage parlor in Taiwan claims that no client has ever been injured during their 40-year practice of knife massages. Want to give your partner a romantic massage? Keep the meat cleaver in the kitchen. We suggest sticking to the professionals on this one. Can you blame us?

If you find it hard to imagine being massaged with blades, check out the video below. You may find yourself eager to try it… or not.
