Heleaux’s Grocery, An Old-Fashioned Store Serving Delicious

Heleaux’s Grocery is located on Verot School Road just south of Ambassador near Vincent.  I have been shopping at Heleaux’s Grocery for years. It’s close to where I live and convenient. Heleaux’s Grocery is an old-fashioned grocery store. When you walk in, you are greeted by cheerful cashiers. In fact, all of the employees are super nice, helpful and genuinely happy. Now once inside, if you want, you can help yourself to a free cup of Community Coffee. It’s right there on your left of the entrance. The store is clean and organized. But the main reason, I go to Heleaux’s Grocery is because of the meat section.

I don’t know what it is about their ground beef or what they do different but their ground beef tastes the best. It is really good. It’s fresh tasting and it’s not full of fat. I have bought meat from other places. You know, those giant corporate-owned places and the ground meat tastes like liver. We always end up disappointed. And I am not the only one who feels this way. The butcher told me, their customers are always asking them why is their ground meat so good. He says to has to do with the way their ground their meat. I personally think it is because they care so much about their product that it comes through in the taste. See for yourself. Check out the Heleaux’s Grocery Facebook page.

So visit Heleaux’s Grocery and try out something from the meat department. You will love it. For this reason, Mustang is showing a little love on a Monday to Heleaux’s Grocery.

I went to Heleaux’s this past Sunday. My son and I were craving bacon burgers. I used to go to Heleaux’s almost every day but when the construction started on Verot, it made it difficult to get there. Thankfully, all the orange cones have been removed and it is easy to get there now.
